2009 RECAP
With great equipment, top engineering, excellent drivers, a solid business plan, and near flawless execution, Genoa has achieved excellent results in 2009. In pre-season testing against all the other top teams, Genoa's #36 car established a new track record at the Palm Beach International Raceway road course and then scored a fastest lap two days later on the banks of Homestead-Miami Speedway. Later the same month and again with 19 top competitors in attendance, Genoa scored another fastest lap at Kentucky Speedway. Genoa was more than 1.5 seconds a lap faster than the nearest competitor in the wet practice at the St. Petersburg Grandprix. Qualifying on the front row, Genoa scored a podium at the Long Beach Grand Prix.
