The Heart Of Genoa Lights.

At Genoa, the drivers drive and the team supports them in every way.  This is one race team that’s uniquely qualified – and prepared – to get down to business and hit the track running for 2010.  We’re dedicated to taking our drivers and our sponsors to the next level.  We’ve got the experience, the know-how, the equipment and the commitment to win.  At any level.  And we have a management team dedicated to taking Genoa over the top:

•    Thomas Knapp (tknapp@genoalights.com) - Team Manager and Engineer. Tom manages all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the team and performs the primary full time engineering duties, supervising the team engineers, crew chiefs, and other personnel. In over 200 starts, Tom / Genoa has scored many wins and a couple of championships, including the 1999 IndyCar Series championship.
 
•    Mark Olson (molson@genoalights.com, mobile/text 317-441-1924) – Owner, Genoa Indy Lights. Mark Olson is a successful businessperson and former part-time Indy Lights driver. Mark takes charge of all administrative aspects of the team, in order to enable Tom to focus on the team operations. 

 

Genoa is also unique in that it has 4 team marketing resources available to help drivers support their existing sponsors and build their brand and image for new sponsorship - sponsorship not just for the current season, but sponsorship that would be expected to carry on with the driver to the next level. These resources each have a unique area of expertise, which combine to deliver the whole package:
